From Tromsø: Reindeer Sledding at Camp Tamok

Before you book
- Meet at the Destination Tromsø point inside the Tromsø Havn Prostneset terminal 15 minutes before departure; the bus to Camp Tamok in Tamokdalen takes about 1.5 hours each way.
- The activity is operated by Destination Tromsø. The camp keeps 5 to 6 reindeer, some distance from the dog yard, so a short minibus ride takes you to them.
- The sled ride is short (about 20 minutes, one reviewer says) and needs snow. A thermal suit, winter boots, mittens and a hat are provided.
- Not suitable for children under 4 or wheelchair users. Cancel up to 24 hours ahead for a full refund.
